Juicy Apron was born during the pandemic—a time that reminded us of the simple joys of togetherness. Families bonded over meals, rekindling moments of love and laughter. Inspired by this spirit of connection, our founder, Shraddha Negi, a textile designer and proud NIFT alumna, envisioned a brand that celebrates relationships and shared experiences.

Recognized as a startup by Startup Uttarakhand and Startup India, Juicy Apron is an ode to family, friends, and the bonds we hold dear. It’s about capturing emotions through designs and turning everyday moments into meaningful memories.

Meet the Founder

Shraddha Negi
Textile Designer | NIFT Alumna | Accidental Entrepreneur

At first glance, starting a business wasn’t part of my plan—it was a serendipitous twist of fate. I’ve always been passionate about textile design, and that passion has fueled my 20-year career working with renowned export houses and brands. However, the global pandemic changed everything. It not only disrupted our lives but also pushed me to rediscover myself and embrace the unexpected.

When Covid-19 struck, I made the difficult decision to leave my job at Ritu Kumar Home and return to my hometown, Dehradun, nestled in the heart of Uttarakhand. Life here came with its own set of challenges, but it also gave me the space and clarity to explore a new path. It was during this time of reflection and uncertainty that I discovered my ikigai—a Japanese concept that means “reason for being.” What started as a simple creative project, designing aprons with love and care, quickly gained momentum.

Today, that passion project has grown into Juicy Apron, a vibrant and heartfelt gifting brand that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and thoughtfulness. Juicy Apron is incubated as a startup with UPES, Dehradun, and proudly recognized by Startup India, Uttarakhand—a journey that feels nothing short of magical.

Building this brand hasn’t just been about creating products; it’s been about unlearning, relearning, evolving, and repeating. These four pillars are the mantra that keep me grounded and constantly inspired.

Through Juicy Apron, I’ve found immense joy in meeting people, sharing stories, and celebrating the beauty of thoughtful gifting. As our journey continues to unfold, I invite you to join us, celebrate with us, and be a part of this dream-turned-reality.
